Boxing Workout For Beginners

I’m about to hit you with a one, two punch! This boxing workout is perfect for beginners and advanced boxers who want to brush up on the basics.

I have posted several boxing workouts before… but today I am slowing things down to make sure you form is on point. If are looking for even more boxing routines, make sure you check out my 4-Week Flat Abs Plan. That home workout plan includes a lot of ab-shaping kickboxing workouts.

Boxing is an incredible cardio workout that also builds muscle in the upper body and core. The benefits of boxing go beyond that though. Boxing and kickboxing are fantastic workouts for stress relief. There is something truly therapeutic about punching a heavy bag when you’ve had a rough day.

You don’t need any equipment for this routine as we will be “air boxing”, but feel free to throw on some gloves and hit a bag as you go through these combinations if you have that available to you.

Try the boxing workout for beginners below!

Do 2 sets of the following conditioning drills.

– Quick Feet (30 seconds)
– Burpees (10 reps)
– Push-ups (10 reps)

Complete the following punches and combinations twice on each side.

– Jab
– Cross
– Jab/Cross
– Jab/Cross/Hook
