Day #11 of my 12 Days of Fitness is a recipe! I decided to healthy-ify one of the holiday season’s classic drink recipes: Eggnog. Eggnog is not known for being healthy (or vegan). It is basically filled with cream, milk, and eggs. It’s very fattening and loaded with calories. So here is your HEALTHY version of this classic drink.
Makes 4-5 servings:
1 cup pecans (unsalted)
1 cup dates
2 tsp pumpkin spice
2 tsp vanilla flavoring
4-5 cups of water (hot or cold)
+ alcohol of choice if over 21 (I used rum)
