Today I am going to teach you how to do push-ups. If you think you already know how to do push-ups, keep reading anyway. You may learn something new!
For those of you who don’t know, I am currently doing a 31-Day Plank Challenge here on my website! This challenge is completely free, so CLICK HERE if you want to sign up. For the past 20 days we have been doing different planks for a minute a day, everyday.
Today’s plank exercise is push-ups. So, I felt this would be the perfect opportunity to share how I teach my clients to do push-ups. I will be walking you through different push-up variations, proper push-up form and all of my tips on improving this challenging exercise.
If you plan to do any of my MFit home workout plans, you will want to learn how to do a push-up. So, I hope you find this video helpful!
I say this a lot in the video, but I want to emphasize that you need to practice the push-up variation that feels challenging and effective to you and you only. If one of the first push-up variations in this video is difficult for you, that is the variation you should work on until it feels easy.
If you want to get stronger, you need to train at the level that is appropriate for you. You will not get stronger if you jump straight to a full push-up when you are unable to.
Check out the video for all of my tips!
