Vegetarian, Low fat, High protein pancakes??

Recently I have been experimenting with a new product I bought off of Amazon. Protein Plus Peanut Flour is 100% vegan, and the best thing I have discovered in 2016. As someone who loves peanut butter, I constantly struggle with eating too much fat. Fat is not a bad thing… your body needs fat. However, your body does not need an entire jar of peanut butter worth of fat. This peanut flour is great because it tastes (and smells) like peanut butter, but it is low in fat! I do not know it works, and I honestly do not care. The macros for this product are: 8g of carbs, 4g of fat, and 16g of protein! It can be used like flour or protein powder. And I have been creating lots of delicious recipes with it over the past month. I will be sharing some of these recipes on this blog, starting with this delicious Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Pancake recipe.

The best thing about this pancake recipe is it only has 4 ingredients!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Protein Plus Peanut Flour

2 egg whites (90g)

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup water

Instructions:

Blend ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Starting mixing as soon as you put the wet ingredients in! If you let it sit too long the peanut flour will start to get chunky.

Once you are happy with the consistency, starting flipping those pancakes!

Nutritional Facts:

The recipe makes: 4 pancakes, and is only 185 calories | 14g carbs | 26g protein | 4g fat | 4g fiber >> And that is including the grape jelly topping shown in the photo!
