Fall is my favorite season. I love the change of weather, the change of leaves, the exciting end of baseball season and the beginning of football. I also love pumpkins! Especially pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are SO easy to make – and if you are carving a pumpkin this year, you have a bunch right there to bake up. So, let me tell you how.
Step One. Separate your seeds from the rest of your pumpkin and soak in lightly salted water over night.
Step Two. Drain and rinse off seeds. Place on a cookie sheet. Lightly salt again (you don’t need to go crazy with the salt, but it is needed for taste. You can use other seasoning if you are looking for something a bit less traditional).
Step Three. Put in oven at 350 degrees. Take out and stir every 10-15 minutes. Continue process until dried out. (Mine were done in 30 minutes – bake time varies on what kind of stove you are using)
Step Four. Voila!
